Summer is full of wonderful things - but melting makeup, smudging kajal, smeared eyeliner, sticky lipsticks, acne breakouts are definitely NO in this list. So, to turn the hot humid weather into pleasant fresh look for you, I am sharing 5 simple aBCDEF steps for summer makeup.
1) Makeup Base - Multitasking
Many of you must have read, first apply moisturizer followed by sunscreen foundation & so on. Here, I have clubbed all of these in a single step - to save your time & be ready in minutes. Be assured women can get ready in 5 mins also. Wash your face & apply tinted lotion that has sun protection. Now mix gel-based primer either with light-weight foundation or you can opt some BB or CC cream. Mix these well in your hand first and now apply with foundation brush (hence called multitasking).
2) Pigmentation Correction
Dab concealer around the eyes, mouth and sides of the nose. Indian ladies will in general have extremely dull under eye circles, so try to get a concealer with a pink feeling. Use Compact powder to set your foundation and concealer and to prevent your skin from looking slick.
3) Blush & Glow with earthy golDen tones
It’s time to apply highlighter on your cheekbones, center of your forehead, center of your chin, bridge of your nose and above & beneath the arch of your eyebrow. While applying on cheek bone, ensure to spread it out evenly, so that it doesn’t look like a strip of highlighter that’s been randomly placed on your cheek. Use a shade of blush that’s great for everyday use.
4) Now for the Eyes
Use kohl eyeliner or brown eyeliner and apply it on the upper and lower lash lines. Use same color and draw line near eyelid, use smudging brush to give a suttle look for eye make. Use curler for eyelids to give them more definition followed by Mascara. To avoid runoff, go for a water-resistant or waterproof formula, since any kind of moisture—humidity, tears, or sweat—will make regular mascara come off. Lightly touch the wand to your lashes and apply in quick layers.
5) Fuller Lips
Pick a color that can be used everyday. Try shades of peach or pink tone.
