How to Look Fresh in the Morning


Whether we like it or not, but we live in a society that makes a decision about us based our outward appearance. Luckily, there are steps we all can take to look better. So whether your objective is better hair, better skin, better makeup, or just an overall better appearance, this article is here to help!

1. Drink a glass of water every morning 

Start your day with a glass of water. It may be tempting to have a cup of tea or coffee, but keep in mind your body needs to rehydrate itself the moment you are awake - the basic routine to be followed every morning. Green tea and coconut water are some other incredible refreshment choices through the first part of the day.

2) CTM (Cleansing, toning and moisturizing)

After water, the second basic step to follow every morning is CTM. Please ensure, all products that you have been using till now is chemical free and skin friendly. or else switch to products that are mild and gentle to your skin.

  • First, cleanse your face - use a cleanser that is mix of cream based and natural ingredients. 
  • Second - use toner that is alcohol-free but rich in antioxidants (Personally, I am using this toner over past 3 years and this has given me good results)
  • Third - use moisturizer. Use a product that is packed with the goodness of yogurt, grape seed, aloe vera and green tea. For summers, I would even recommend to us sunscreen for better skin protection.

3) Grooming

Apply perfume or mist around wrists, ears, neck—that's the usual to-do list when your spritz on your favorite fragrance. The scent will rise without being as overpowering as some perfumes tend to be.

4) Eating Habits

Eating the right diet will dramatically improve the health and appearance of your skin, nails and hair. Eat blueberries, as they are great at improving skin's elasticity. Consume plenty of strawberries, as they help to protect skin's collagen and reduce wrinkles. Avocados are great because they contain folate, which helps aid in cell regeneration. Last, but not least, eat plenty of acai berries. Acai berries contain twice as many anti-oxidants as any other berry.

Few beauty hacks to try

  • If you want that shiny look on your legs, but don't want a greasy feel to them, just use your regular lotion, and gloss it up a little by adding a small drop of baby oil. This will give you luster and softness, without the resulting greasiness of the baby oil alone.
  •  If you are looking for that natural shine from your eyebrows and lashes, petroleum jelly is a great tool to use. Apply some at bedtime, every single night. When you wake up, make sure to remember to wash it off. This will keep your eyelashes and brows shiny, all day long.
  • A way to combat greasy hair is to spray the hairspray onto the brush, and run it through the hair from the roots to the tips. This will result in a hold with volume and shine, and without the plastered look.
  • Do not apply eyeliner from the outside to the inside. You are less likely to get a straight line this way. Instead, start from the inside and slowly work your way to the outside. Do not go too fast, it is unnecessary and will just make your eyeliner smear.
